Zuerst hab' ich es gar nicht richtig bemerkt
Ich war nämlich gerade erst aufgewacht
Aber wo's mir jetzt klar wird fühle ich mich bestärkt
in diesem sich'ren Gefühl und in diesem Bild dafür:
Wo immer ich bin, trage ich dich in mir.

Eh' der Tag neu beginnt lass uns nun so tun
als ob alles im Leben ganz einfach wär:

und, überhaupt, was braucht es schon mehr.
